Welcome to Bandara Dissanayake’s web page |

I am currently a final year doctorial student at School of Chemical & Process Engineering, Newcastle University. My research is to develop an intensive powder coatings manufacturing process. The research is fully funded by AkzoNobel Powder Coatings (UK). My studies are also funded by ORS and NUIPS awards. I am originally from Sri Lanka, the pearl island of Indian Ocean. I grew up in a small village called Palagama in the Western province. I did my undergraduate studies at University of Moratuwa. I am really interested in travelling, photography and politics. I have no intention to be a politician though. Cricket is my favorite sport.
