Research

My current research focuses on Consumer Behaviour and Food Marketing. In particular, my study will try to identify the attitudes and the preferences of consumers in the United Kingdom towards wine in general and wine from Greece in particular. The main aims are:

  • To investigate to what extent consumers in the United Kingdom buy wine, and if wine from Greece is among their choices. Furthermore, to identify the reasons that prompt this particular behaviour and how consumption is influenced by their socio-economic and demographic characteristics.
  • To locate the factors and the quality characteristics of wine that influence purchase and consumption and furthermore, which are the quality characteristics of Greek wine that lead consumers in the United KIngdom to buy it or not.
