Personal Information

I studied Pharmaceutical Chemistry (BSc Hons) at Northumbria University, graduating in the summer of 2015. As part of my sandwich year I worked as a member of the Research and Development team at Chemoxy International Ltd in Middlesbrough on numerous projects in synthetic and process chemistry. My time in the laboratory also involved working on a Technology Strategy Board (TSB – now known as Innovate UK) funded feasibility study “Green Synthesis of Dibasic Acids using Biocatalysis” that involved a research collaboration between Chemoxy International Ltd, Biocatalysts Ltd and Northumbria University.

I am currently undertaking a PhD in chemistry as part of the Doherty research group in the School of Chemistry at Newcastle University. You can find out more information about this by visiting the research interests section of this website.
